Aidan Potter goes Late Model Stock racing with Chad Bryant Racing

17-year-old Aidan Potter will move to Late Model Stock competition with Chad Bryant Racing for the 2026 season.

The Lebanon, Tennessee native will debut with the team this weekend at the 11th annual Icebreaker at Florence Motor Speedway, marking the beginning of his first season with one of the premier organizations.

Chad Bryant Racing has become one of the most respected programs in Late Model Stock racing with the likes of Ty Majeski, Connor Hall, and Treyten Lapcevich, all of whom had success behind the wheel of its cars.

“This is the closest I’ve ever been to showing myself on the big stage, and I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to work with such a great crew,” Potter said in an online statement. “I can’t thank God enough for these blessings.”

Potter’s path to Late Model Stock competition has been diverse. Before transitioning to stock cars, he built experience in open-wheel racing, competing in Formula 4 and USF Juniors. He made the move to stock cars late in 2024, joining Fetcho Motorsports to begin his development in Pro Late Model competition.

In his first full season in stock cars in 2025, Potter earned one victory and finished second in the Pro Late Model standings at Montgomery Motor Speedway.

“I want to say thank you to the entire Fetcho Motorsports crew,” Potter said. “From day one, they gave everything they could to put a strong car under me, and we proved we could compete with the best, even in our first year. From mistakes and heartbreaking losses to big wins, they stuck with it until the very end. As a rookie coming back into oval racing ready to prove myself, they played a huge role in what we were able to accomplish together.”

Potter’s 2026 schedule is set to be his most demanding yet. He’ll compete for the I-95 Showdown Championship, along with select appearances in CARS Tour competition and highlighted by the Valley Star Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway.

Now, Potter turns his focus toward building chemistry with his new team and continuing his development on a bigger stage throughout the 2026 campaign.
