ASA STARS to Toledo for 38th Glass City 200

The marquee event of Toledo Speedway’s 2026 racing season is set for September 19th as the ASA STARS National Tour heads to Ohio for the 38th running of the CorvetteParts.net Glass City 200.

In its fourth consecutive year under the ASA STARS banner, this will mark the 20th time an ASA event has been held at the classic high-banked, half-mile oval. The Super Late Model event serves as a late-season fixture, drawing a mix of regional veterans and emerging national prospects. Sixteen cars are officially entered to compete, all vying to add their name to the history of one of Midwest short-track racing’s most coveted events.

The entry list features high-profile contenders including former ASA Champions Ty Majeski, looking for his fifth career ASA STARS victory, and Casey Roderick, who is on the hunt for his third win on the Tour. Veteran drivers Derek Thorn, from California, and Wisconsin stand-out Derek Kraus, join Toledo Speedway stalwarts Michael Simko and Ohio native Albert Francis. Pepper Jack Kennels Rookie of the Year contender Jade Avedisian also highlights the roster, joining a competitive group of rising talent like Tristan McKee and Caden Kvapil.

Following the ASA STARS Tour’s most recent stop at Tri-County Speedway on September 9, 2026, Carson Brown has extended his lead to 176 points over second place Kyle Steckly. While Brown is seemingly in the catbird seat, the Championship isn’t quite yet his.

Steckly, who was the first car out in Tri-County after an early race incident, will need to maximize his efforts to be able to catch Brown in the Championship Standings. If Steckly wins the pole, sweeps the stages and wins the race, he will find himself with a chance to capitalize on any misfortune from Brown.

In addition to the national tour main event, Toledo Speedway will lock in its local division titles, featuring championship feature races for both the Late Model Sportsman and Factory Stock classes.

Grandstand gates open at noon ET, with practice starting shortly after and pole qualifying set for 3:00 PM ET. Fans unable to attend in person can watch full coverage live online via TrackTV.
