After eight races, just 39 points separate the top five in the CARS Tour Northwest Pro Late Model standings as the inaugural championship reaches its conclusion Saturday at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval.

Championship leader Andrew Riehl holds a five-point advantage over Ethan Ebert, while Zach Riehl and Wyatt Gardner remain mathematically alive for the title.

The Jerry Berschauer 125 will close out the inaugural Northwest Pro Late Model season, while the Frank’s Radio Legends will also conclude their 2026 season with a 30-lap feature.

PRO LATE MODEL NOTES

FOUR STILL ALIVE

Four drivers entered in Saturday’s Jerry Berschauer 125 remain mathematically eligible to become the inaugural CARS Tour Northwest Pro Late Model champion.

Andrew Riehl leads the standings with 286 points, followed by Ethan Ebert with 281. Zach Riehl enters the finale 25 points behind the leader, while Wyatt Gardner sits 39 points back with one race remaining.

Riehl has recorded three top-five finishes and six top 10s in eight starts this season, with an average finish of 7.88. Ebert has four top-five finishes and six top 10s in eight starts, carrying a 9.50 average finish into the finale. Ebert has also led 137 laps this season, including 55 at Tri-City Raceway in the most recent race.

CHAMPIONSHIP MATH

Ebert must outscore Riehl by at least six points in Saturday night’s Jerry Berschauer 125 to win the championship outright. If Ebert outscores Riehl by five points, the two would finish tied in the championship standings, while a gain of four points or fewer would give Riehl the championship.

Bonus points could also factor into the championship, with points available for winning the pole, qualifying second fastest, leading a lap, leading the most laps and earning hard charger honors.

DOWN TO THE WIRE

Ebert kept the championship battle close with a runner-up finish at Tri-City Raceway on Sept. 5. Ebert took the lead on the opening lap and led 55 laps before Turner Brown made the winning pass coming to the white flag.

Riehl made a late-race trip to pit road for a suspected brake issue before returning to the track and charging back to third.

BACK TO WENATCHEE

Alan Cress returns to Wenatchee Valley Super Oval as the most recent CARS Tour Northwest Pro Late Model winner at the 0.250-mile oval. The Stayton, Ore., driver charged from 10th during the inaugural series visit in April, taking the lead late to score his first career series victory.

Ebert finished fourth in the April event, while Andrew Riehl finished sixth. Zach Riehl, also entered in Saturday’s finale, finished fifth.

AN INAUGURAL SEASON TO REMEMBER

From the first green flag at Tri-City Raceway in April to Saturday night’s championship finale at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval, the inaugural CARS Tour Northwest Pro Late Model season has delivered plenty of memorable moments across the Pacific Northwest.

Thomas Stanford became the first winner in series history at Tri-City Raceway, Alan Cress scored his first series victory in the inaugural trip to Wenatchee Valley Super Oval and Kevin Harvick swept both visits to Stateline Speedway, including the Idaho 200. Keelan Harvick added a $15,000 victory in the Mark Galloway Shootout at Evergreen Speedway, while Harvick added his third win of the season at Colorado National Speedway before Turner Brown emerged late in the season with back-to-back victories at Evergreen Speedway and Tri-City Raceway.

After eight races, the inaugural season now comes down to Wenatchee Valley Super Oval, where the first CARS Tour Northwest Pro Late Model champion will be crowned.

KECK LEADS THE WAY

Kaleb Keck enters Saturday’s 30-lap Frank’s Radio Legends season finale at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval with a commanding 43-point advantage over Damien Harris in the championship standings.

Keck leads the standings with 232 points, followed by Harris with 189 entering the final race of the season.
