Jesse Little will return to his short track roots during the NASCAR Xfinity Series hiatus scheduled for this summer.

Little, who pilots the No. 78 for B.J. McLeod Motorsports, will race a Pro Late Model with support from AAA Sweeping and AAA Equipment in a pair of marquee Northwestern short track events.

His first appearance will come in the Summer Showdown, which takes place July 23-24 at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington. He is also scheduled to enter the Idaho 200 at Stateline Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho on July 30-31.

‘We are excited to be able to partner with Jesse for two of the biggest late model races in the Northwest,” said Brett Sargent, president of AAA Sweeping and AAA Equipment. “This is a great opportunity to be able to put Jesse back in a late model and I think the fans are going to be excited to see him. We are proud that he will be representing AAA Sweeping and AAA Equipment for these two races.”

Little raced late models early in his career, competing in southeastern weekly and touring competition.
