UARA National, Cordele Superfest seasons start Saturday

Daniel Vining

For the second time in three weeks, Cordele Motor Speedway will play host to the start of a touring Super Late Model season but also the beginning of something new entirely.

Saturday will see the Cordele, Georgia bullring begin both the UARA National season and a concept the track is calling Super Fest. This is the four-race season within a season, most similar to the Blizzard Series at Five Flags Speedway that builds towards the Snowball Derby, these four Super Late Model races at Cordele building towards the World Crown 300.

Saturday night is both the first Super Fest race but also the first race that counts towards the UARA sanctioned season. UARA National doesn’t use a points paying system but instead crowns a champion based on which driver earns the most money over the course of the season, claimed by Bubba Pollard in 2023 and 2024.

Super Fest No. 1 pays $10,000 to win and features a healthy number of marquee names across national Super Late Model competition.

It features Pollard, Stephen Nasse, Johnny Sauter, Jake Finch, Michael Atwell and World Crown 300 winner Michael Hinde. The event airs live on Racing America on Saturday and also features Outlaw Late Models, Mini Stocks, Pro Stocks, Trucks and Enduros.

Racing starts at 5 p.m. ET and the Super Late Model entry list can be found below.
