Boschele chasing World Crown win

Daniel Vining

Gavan Boschele is feeling good about his chances in the World Crown 300 at Cordele next week.

The 17 year old won the World Series of Asphalt championship in the Super Late Model division at New Smyrna Speedway earlier this year. The ASA Platinum driver is excited heading into Cordele and feels like he will have a good chance at the win.

“This race is pretty cool, a lot of money on the line, which is good to see for Super Late Model racing,” Boschele said. “I think our chances are pretty solid. We always run very good [there], we were fast there last year and had a right front tire go down late in the going, which took us out of contention to win. I think it’s cool what they did for the bonus races. Definitely a good idea.”

Boschele qualifying on the front row for the event last year and has had speed throughout the year. He feels like with a little bit of luck this time around he can win.

“I think what we need is just kind of- we’ve had fast race cars every weekend, just some things that haven’t been going our way that we can’t control, but I’m confident in my guys. I know we bring a fast race car every single weekend, but all in all hoping for a good, good weekend and hopefully come out on top.”

The World Crown 300 is on Saturday, October 25th and will be streamed on Racing America.
