Todd Gilliland swept Snowball Derby practice on Thursday by posting the fastest overall time while pacing both the morning and afternoon sessions in Pensacola, Florida.
His 16.635 led the way for a three-car David Gilliland Racing effort. As usual, times are close with the entire field separated by just over half a second. It essentially served as a preview for Friday’s qualifying session with some of the biggest names in the industry all showing the kinds of speed you’d expect.
John Hunter Nemechek, Harrison Burton, William Byron and Logan Boyett completed the top-5.
