Qualifying for the 50th Snowball Derby concluded with Preston Peltier on top of the provisional starting lineup.

For 33 drivers, the consummation of a dream is just one step away. For the 20 drivers that just missed out on qualifying into the show on time, the clock is ticking and one race will determine the remaining four spots in the back half of the starting lineup.

Saturday night at roughly 6 p.m. ET will see those 20 drivers battle to occupy the first four spots by the end of 50 laps. Those drivers will advance and everyone else will go home. It’s that simple.

Of course, the results of this race will be tending a technical inspection, no different than qualifying or the main event. So teams must be legal upon crossing the finish line as well. Transfer spots have been won and lost in the Room of Doom inspection station as well.

It’s worth noting that the ‘hooligan race’ will feature some heavy hitters, such as veterans Brandon Oakley, Tate Fogleman, Dennis Shoenfeld, Ben Rowe and five-time Derby winner Rich Bickle. There is no shortage of intrigue for this race.

Here is the provisional starting lineup for the Snowball Derby last chance qualifier. This is pending any teams that potentially withdraw before Saturday.
