Bubba Pollard, Apex Racing Team Up in Midwest

The pairing will race together in the Upper Midwest this summer.

Over the weekend, prior to winning ASA Speedfest at Watermelon Capital Speedway, Bubba Pollard revealed that he expected to race more than ever in 2023 but not entirely in his own equipment.

Part of that dynamic was revealed on Wednesday with the announcement that Pollard would drive for Apex Motorsports for the three Midwest Tour races that make up the ASA STARS National Series in addition to other events in the Upper Midwest over the summer. Pollard plans to contest all 10 races of the inaugural season in pursuit of the championship but says he’s going to tie a lot of relationships and friendships together to make it happen.

One of those friendships is team owner Travis Dassow, who will pair Pollard with Casey Johnson, for these events in 2023.

“I’m super excited to be working with two of the best in short track racing,” Dassow said.
