Short-track racing takes center stage in western North Carolina on Wednesday, September 9th, as the ASA STARS National Tour rolls into Tri-County Speedway for the Ebb Logistics 250 Presented by SAVE22.VET.
The midweek Super Late Model showdown serves as the makeup date for a May rainout and kicks off a massive double-header week of racing between ASA STARS and the CARS Tour at the high-banked, 0.4-mile oval in Granite Falls.
A strong field of drivers have entered this event, featuring NASCAR star Christopher Bell, who is fresh off of winning the Southern 500 in Darlington, South Carolina. Bell will be piloting a car out of the Wilson Motorsports stable.
Fresh off making history as the youngest winner in series history at Owosso Speedway, Keelan Harvick enters the field, while his father, 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick, serves as the event’s Grand Marshal.
NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series driver Brent Crews has entered, racing for the newly formed C3 Race Division team led by Casey Caudill. He will have young gun Kasey Kleyn joining him in Granite Falls as a teammate.
Bubba Pollard comes to Tri-County riding a building wave of momentum after winning the last two ASA Southern Super Series events in Cordele, Georgia and Mobile, Alabama, respectively.
With the 2026 season entering its crucial stretch, Wednesday’s 250-lap main event carries championship implications for the national series title and its $100,000 point fund. Carson Brown leads the ASA STARS National Tour standings with 594 total points following his consistent run through the summer swing. Kyle Steckly remains in close range, sitting second while tour regulars Derek Thorn, Casey Roderick, and Tristan McKee continue to jockey for position inside the top ten.
The race opens a marquee double-header week in North Carolina, leading into the CARS Tour race at the facility on Saturday, September 12th. In addition to the posted payouts, a $5,000 “Double-Down” bonus is up for grabs for any driver who can sweep both Wednesday’s ASA STARS 250 and Saturday’s CARS Tour Pro Late Model feature.
