The ASA STARS National Tour is at Owosso Speedway in Ovid, Michigan for the Michigan 300, to be held on Wednesday night, August 26, 2026. The midweek special brings a stacked field of national stars, regional champions, and rising young talent to the progressive-banked, 3/8-mile oval widely known as “The Big O”.
Bubba Pollard, fresh off of winning the Georgia Summer Nationals in Cordele with the Southern Super Series, returns to Michigan where he won in 2025. In that race, Pollard avoided the chaos of a late race crash among the leaders on lap 297. The incident removed Carson Brown from contention for the win and his first bid at victory in Owosso, opening the door for Pollard to pick up his third career ASA STARS Tour victory.
Brown returns, looking for redemption from the 2025 folly, and is fresh of a win in the CARS Tour West Series at Evergreen Speedway on August 15th. Brown is also the ASA STARS Tour’s most recent winner, picking up his fourth win of the season back in late July at Newport Speedway in Tennessee.
Kyle Steckly comes to Owosso holding the crown as the 2026 Master of the Pros winner in July with the CRA Turn One Pro Series. Steckly led the final 86 laps of the race, which included fellow Michigan 300 entrants Chase Pinsonneault, Chase Burda, Michael Simko and Keelan Harvick.

As the second half of the ASA STARS season begins, points leader Carson Brown sits atop the field, 130 points ahead of second place Kyle Steckly. Brown has shown the dominance thus far this season, winning four of the six races run, but Steckly is holding his own with a win in June at Madison Speedway. Tristan McKee sits in striking distance of the leaders, maintaining third place just 20 points behind Steckly. Stephen Nasse and Derek Thorn sit tied for fourth, -229 points behind leader Brown.
