For those that missed the news last month, ASA STARS and Slinger Nationals could not finalize a sanctioning agreement leaving the sanctioning body to move its national championship event to the Milwaukee Mile on Father’s Day instead.
It was a natural pivot as ASA promoter Bob Sargent was keen to keep the date in Wisconsin. For its part, Slinger Speedway operator Todd Thielen retains his status an independent promoter for the biggest race of his season.
The entry list for the Father’s Day 200 was released on Tuesday night and is 28 cars strong.
It includes all the ASA STARS championship contenders in Casey Roderick, Ty Majeski, Bubba Pollard, Cole Butcher and Gio Ruggiero. The race is also a Midwest Tour points event and contains contenders Gabe Sommers, Justin Mondeik, Levon VanDerGeest and Bryan Syer-Keske as well.
NASCAR Truck Series contender Carson Hocevar is entered as well alongside Midwestern notables Derek Kraus, Luke Fenhaus and Paul Shafer. William Sawalich makes a start on Sunday in his Donnie Wilson Motorsports colors.
The complete schedule and entry lists can be found below. The racing will air live on Racing America and Track TV.
