Jett Noland wins 100 lap Pro race at Cordele

Jason Reasin

Jett Noland emerged victorious on Saturday night in a 100 lao Pro Late Mode challenge at Cordele Motor Speedway..

Noland took the lead from Cale Hall on Lap 55 and retained the position as Hall and Jake Finch jockeyed amongst themselves.

“We had some brake issues from about lap 20,” said Noland. “We were riding around during the middle of the race. We gave it all at the end, no brake pedal. I can’t thank my crew chief enough and my whole team, everybody that helps me get this car ready to go racing.”

“It was slowly getting better. It’s normally a long-run kind of car, so normally we get better as it goes on. I feel like the car was really good.”

Daniel Webster led the first 11 laps before Boston Oliver inherited the lead. Hall took to the lead on Lap 30 and kept it until the Lap 55 restart.

The Lap 54 caution nearly bit Hall as Spencer Bragg slowed in Turn 2 and backed up into Hall. Seth Christensen and Oliver completed the top-5.
