Crate Racin’ USA enters pavement racing; sponsors Baby Rattler

Crate Racin’ USA, America’s Leader in Racing, is coming to pavement short track racing in 2025.

Crate Racin’ USA is a leading dirt racing sanctioning body and rules platform built around the economical GM Performance 602 and 604 engine.

The Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series is an expanding touring division currently anchored in the Southeastern states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. Crate Racin’ USA also manages numerous other Late Model Sportsman, Modified and Street Stock divisions for its track partners.

As part of its initial voyage into the pavement short track racing space, Crate Racin’ USA is partnering with Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts to sponsor the Pro Late Model Baby Rattler at South Alabama Speedway March 13-14 in advance of the Super Late Model Rattler 250 on March 15.

This builds on what is now a three-year relationship between Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts and the venerable Kinston, Alabama bullring.

Crate Racin’ USA series director Adam Stewart is excited for the opportunity to connect with the pavement racers and grow short track racing holistically.

“The Baby Rattler 125 is one of the most prestigious Pro Late Model races of the season and the perfect opportunity to begin forging relationships with that community while also showing everyone how serious and committed we are to growing in and with the pavement racing community,” said Stewart.

Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts representative Gina Schild-Knowles has been a longstanding champion for grassroots racer and promises this is the first of many exciting announcements coming.

“This is only the start of some great stuff coming for asphalt short track racing,” said Schild-Knowles. “I have been a part of the growth of Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts for three years now and am excited at what we are building with Crate Racin’ USA on asphalt.”

The initiative is on-brand for Rogers-Dabbs account representative Benny Hopkins, who aims to grow the discipline through four key pillars that guide the entire business.

“Our company represents speed, accuracy, accountability and professionalism, and we can’t think of a better way to show it than continuing to grow alongside our partner Crate Racin’ USA,” said Benny Hopkins, who is the account representative for Rogers Dabbs. “It’s our mission to work for the racers and together I believe we can save them time, money and hassle.

“Our pricing is the best they will find, but it’s our people who will make the difference. Racers will be a priority when it comes to purchasing performance parts, and it’ll be our goal to give them the ability to win races each and every week. We are truly honored to be part of this powerful racing brand and historic weekend and we look forward to growing with racers from all corners.”
