Brody Monahan has joined Walker Motorsports to race the No. 54 Pro Late Model at Orange County Speedway this weekend for the CARS Pro Late Model Tour race.

Monahan was announced as the full-time driver for the No. 31 Bryson Lopez Racing entry for this year in the CARS Pro Late Model Tour and ran the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway with the team. On April 18, he announced that he would be withdrawing from Orange County due to a scheduling conflict.

“While we were really looking forward to running at Orange County, unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict we have to withdraw from the event. We are wishing our teammates at Bryson Lopez Racing the best of luck,” Monahan said on social media.

When the entry list was published on April 22, it showed Kaden Honeycutt in the No. 31 Bryson Lopez Racing car. Walker Motorsports only entered one car, the No. 15 for Rodney Dowless. The announcement came today that Monahan would be behind the wheel of the No. 54 this weekend.

Monahan currently sits eighth in CARS Pro Late Model Tour points standings, 35 points behind the leader Tristan McKee, who is not entered this weekend. Monahan will be able to keep his championship hopes alive, albeit in a different car than what he is used to.

Action begins on Saturday, April 26 at Orange County Speedway at 12 E.T. for practice with the green flag flying at 8 E.T. for the 100 lap CARS Pro Late Model Tour race. Fans can get tickets for the event at track on race day or watch live on FloRacing.
