After only four events were contested in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the SMART Modified Tour unveiled an 11-race schedule on Tuesday afternoon that will begin in March before coming to a close in the middle of November.
Caraway Speedway will serve as the season-opener for the SMART Modified Tour on March 14 after it hosted two races in 2020, with defending champion Brian Loftin and John Smith taking home checkered flags in those respective races. The series will visit Caraway two more times on July 3 and Sept. 11.
The other track to host races for the SMART Modified Tour last season in Florence Motor Speedway also returns to the schedule. The track’s first race will follow Caraway on March 20 while a non-points event at the facility will occur on the weekend of the South Carolina 400 from Nov. 19-20.
Other tracks that will play host to the SMART Modified Tour in 2021 include Hickory Motor Speedway, South Boston Speedway, Carteret County Speedway, and Dominion Raceway.
