McCaskills Sweep Front Row In CARS LMSC Tour Qualifying

LUCAMA, N.C. :: Deac McCaskill claimed his sixth career Championship Auto Racing Series (CARS) Late Model Stock Tour pole, setting fast time in qualifying for the #CARSTour300 at Southern National Motorsports Park.

McCaskill’s time of 15.350 seconds gave him the pole over cousin Bradley McCaskill by 0.126 seconds, setting up an all-McCaskill front row for the first race of the 2016 CARS Late Model Stock season.

Deac McCaskill is now three-for-three in qualifying in CARS races at the Lucama, North Carolina 0.400-mile oval, after winning both series poles at the facility in 2015. He also owns four Late Model Stock track championships at the track, making him one of the favorites for today’s 150 lap feature.

Josh Berry qualified third in the 27 car field, with Mike Darne and Christian Eckes rounding out the top five.
