Langley Speedway sports 21 Late Model Stock races in 2019

Langley Speedway revealed its 2019 schedule over the weekend and it includes 21 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stock Car races over 15 dates.

The season will begin on Saturday, March 30 with a 100-lap Late Model Stock Car race. The track will feature two other extra distance ‘majors’ over the spring and summer with the Hampton Heat 200 and the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown.

The Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown will take place on Thursday, April 11, just before the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series weekend at Richmond Raceway with a test day scheduled for the night before.
The Hampton Heat will take place on July 20.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour moved to South Boston for 2019 but Langley Speedway has added the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car division for the first time on June 8. The event stands to feature a uncanny mix of series regulars against the best local talent in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Danny Edwards Jr. is the reigning champion.

June 22nd – Twin 70-lap LMSC
July 20th – 200-lap LMSC – 11th Annual Hampton Heat
August 3rd – Twin 70-lap LMSC
August 17th – 100-lap LMSC
August 24th – Twin 70-lap LMSC
September 7th – 100-lap LMSC
September 14th – Twin 70-lap LMSC
September 28th – Twin 70-lap LMSC
October 12th – 100-lap LMSC championship night
