Landon Huffman pays tribute to dad for Throwback 276

One Wraps Design

Like father, like son.

Landon Huffman has joined Nolan Pope (Richard Petty), Deac McCaskill (Dale Earnhardt) and Tommy Lemons Jr. (Rusty Wallace) with retro paint schemes to be used on August 5 during the CARS Tour Throwback 276 at Hickory Motor Speedway.

But unlike previous reveals this month, Huffman featured a more personal design.

Huffman will pilot the No. 37 Catawba Valley Reclamation Late Model Stock that replicates a design that his father, Landon Huffman, piloted in NASCAR Goody’s Dash Series back in the early 2000’s.

“I’m very excited to be honoring my father in the Throwback event in August,” the younger Huffman said. “It’s even better that it takes place at a track that we both grew up racing at over the years.”

Robert Huffman drove his No. 37 White House Apple Juice entry to five NASCAR Goody’s Dash Series Championships (1990, 1998, 1999,2000, & 2003) — the first on-track success that Toyota had in NASCAR before joining the Camping World Truck Series in 2004. The elder Huffman was essentially Toyota’s first marquee NASCAR star.

Toyota has come on board to support the No. 37 and Landon as he takes to the ‘Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars’ on August 5th.

“It’s really cool to have Toyota’s support as we bring the car that started it for them back to a racetrack,” Huffman said. “It is going to be a fun weekend for my family, Toyota, and I.”

One Wraps, has re-designed the wrap that will adorn the No. 37 LHR Late Model Stock Car.
