Kade Brown dominates Hickory Fall Brawl

Kade Brown completed a dominant season at Hickory Motor Speedway, one in which he already won the Late Model Stock track championship for Matt Piercy Racing, with a victory in the season-ending Fall Brawl 200.

The season also included a win in the summer special Bobby Isaac Memorial as well.

This time, Brown started the race from the outside pole and quickly took the lead from Josh Berry making his Kevin Harvick Inc. debut and never relinquished the top spot to dominate the race, making a big statement in the process.

“Last year we came to this race and I think we qualified like third to last and then we ended up sixth, just staying alive,” Brown said. “To qualify on the front row and especially beat some of these guys like Berry, it means so much. I feel like we had a really good car all day and we were able to finish it off.”

Connor Zilisch finished second in the Carroll Speedshop No. 57 with Berry completing the podium.

“Every time I thought we had something for him, he would just drive away, like he was just toying with us,” Zilisch said.

This was the first of three weeks in a row that Berry will drive the KHI car alongside crew chief Rodney Childers in advance of their Cup Series pairing next season in the Stewart-Haas Racing No. 4. They will also tackle the South Carolina 400 and Thanksgiving Classic.

Ryan Millington and Taylor Satterfield posted top-5s.
