R&S Race Cars, the team, will field three full-time CARS Tour entries next season for three-time series champion Bobby McCarty, 2016 season champion Deac McCaskill and Logan Clark.
McCarty, who previously in the off-season said he was short on funding to race the full campaign, now says he is about 75 percent of the way there as it pertains to making the full slate happen. McCaskill is an interesting addition to the tour because he hasn’t committed to a full season in quite a while but remains competitive anytime he straps into a Late Model Stock Car.
This will be the second full-time collaboration between Clark and R&S Race Cars.
In addition to the full CARS Tour schedule, all three are slated to race for the full NASCAR Virginia Triple Crown championship comprised of the South Boston 200, Hampton Heat and Martinsville 300 in addition to select weekly series events throughout the season.
