Hurricane Debby postpones CARS Tour race at Ace

The race will be made up the following Friday night instead

The impending arrival of what remains of Hurricane Derby has forced CARS Tour to postpone Fridau night’s race at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, North Carolina.

Instead, the race will run the following week on Friday August 16 with no changes to the original schedule in that there will be a practice day on August 15 and then racing the next night.

The storm is forecast to drop several inches of rain over several days and racing would be absolutely unteanable based on consensus storm tracks.
