The inaugural CARS Tour race at Newport Speedway in Tennessee, originally a Friday and Saturday show, has been rescheduled for just a one-day affair on Friday due to an impending inclement weather pattern.
In other words, there will not be a test day, and these races are now a one-day show with the schedule as follows:
7:45 AM – Crew Chief Meeting
8:00 AM – Garage Open
10:00 AM – Trackside Parking Open
12:00 PM – Grandstands Open
12:00-2:15 PM – Practice
2:30 PM – Driver/Crew Chief/Spotter Meeting
6:10 PM – PLM Qualifying
6:30 PM – LMSC Qualifying
7:30 PM – Driver Introductions
7:50 PM – Pre-Race Ceremonies
8:00 PM – LMSC Race (125 laps)
9:30 PM – PLM Race (100 laps)
