The CARS Tour will take its absolutely wild championship battle to Dominion Speedway in Spotsylvania, Virginia on Saturday night for the Mini’s Mission 125.
There are also eight drivers within one race’s worth of points of each other through seven races. That’s insane. Generally, it’s down to a two or three horse race by this point of a season but the new Hoosier ST2s have challenged CARS Tour teams tremendously this year.
- Connor Hall
- Brent Crews -5
- Brenden Queen -9
- Mini Tyrrell -21
- Treyten Lapcevich -21
- Carson Kvapil -22
- Ryan Millington -23
- Bobby McCarty -24
- Chad McCumbee -31
So now comes Dominion, which produced arguably CARS Tour’s best all-time finish (Bobby McCarty over Brenden Queen and Carson Kvapil) until it was unseated by Langley’s wild three-wide photo finish in which Connor Hall won over Brent Crews and Kvapil.

Quotables
“I’m very excited to get back there. With the exception of Tri-County, we’ve had a very strong year. We’ve had good speed. Our program is where it needs to be. We are capable of running top-5 every week and in CARS Tour, it’s hard to ask for much more than that. I’m looking forward to all these race tracks. Our program is struggling a little bit on these high grip race tracks but we do fare better on the high wear tracks. These tires are going to be weird at Dominion, man. I don’t know. The racing at Ace sucked with these tires. It didn’t feel like Ace. Langley was the same that it’s always been though. Fingers crossed that they will feel like normal Dominion. We’ll see. I’m ready and I hope everyone else is.”
-Bobby McCarty
“I’m pretty excited. I feel like last year there, we should have won. Maybe some dirty driving got in the way of that. I feel like there is some redemption coming back there. We’ll have a really good car. It’s just going to be all about being there at the end and having a car to win.”
-Carson Kvapil
“They’re telling me that it’s fun and fast. I think I’m going to like it. Hopefully we can test there a little before we show up to get ready for my first laps there.”
-Treyten Lapcevich
