For the second straight season, the All-American 400 at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville will return to its traditional format as a 400-lap Super Late Model event.

The first 27 entries have been received and a few more could show up later this weekend. The path to a ‘music city guitar’ runs through defending winner Bubba Pollard — the only former winner entered thus far. The 30-year-old has amassed quite the resume this season with signature victories in the Money in the Bank 150, Slinger Nationals and another Five Flags Speedway (FL) track championship.

He’s not the only big name entered as newly crowned Southern Super Series champion Stephen Nasse will also make the trip up from Pinellas Park, Florida. He’s still looking for his first victory on the season and has stated that he will not view himself as a champion until he reaches Victory Lane. There’s no better place than Music City.

Reigning Snowball Derby winner Christian Eckes is looking to add a guitar to his Tom Dawson Trophy. Chad Finley won the ARCA Racing Series event at the speedway in April and Casey Roderick has won 14 times in a straight rail Late Model this season en route to the storied .596-mile speedway.
