CARS Tour will open its season for both the Late Model Stock and Pro Late Model divisions in 2027 at Bradenton, Florida with a trip to Freedom Factory on February 6.
The former Desoto Speedway is owned by YouTuber turned NASCAR semi-regular Garrett Mitchell, who does business under the stage name, Cleetus McFarland. In addition to McFarland, the racing car that night is also expected to include starts by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick and the series regulars.
Desoto Speedway hosted ASA National Tour and All Pro Series in its heyday.
It had been shuttered from 2018 to 2020 when McFarland purchased the facility for social media content but then slowly introduced traditional racing events overtime. It started with his showcase Crown Victoria division but also includes two UARA Super Late Model events, including The Bill Bigley Sr. Memorial 128.
This is the furthest south CARS Tour will have traveled following the race at Cordele Motor Speedway in South Georgia in 2024. Tickets will go on sale via the Freedom Factory on October 19.
