Officials from the UARA National Tour announced today that Saturday’s Backyard Brawl 100 at Mobile International Speedway will be postponed.
“Well, we hate to do it but with a very unfavorable forecast showing rain chances above 60-70 percent both Friday and Saturday as well as current gas prices, UARA officials along with Mobile International Speedway officials have made the tough decision to postpone this weekends Backyard Brawl 100,” said promoter Ricky Brooks.
“It’s never an easy decision but we must look out for our teams,” he added.
The next logical question is, postponed until when?
“We are currently looking for a make up date and if one is available that doesn’t step on the toes of other series in the region we will make this race up,” Brooks said in the announcement.
“Thank you to all the teams and fans that were preparing to make there way to Mobile this weekend.”
The trip to Irvington, Alabama, just outside of Mobile itself, was set to be the fourth stop on the 2026 UARA National Tour Schedule.
Next up for that series is The Money in the Bank 150 at Berlin Raceway on June 9th.
