Southern National releases 2026 spring schedule

North Carolina track to crown champions in June

LUCAMA, NC – Southern National Motorsports Park released its spring schedule at the 25th Thanksgiving Classic, with six additional races being run after the February 28-March 7 Speed Week.

The previously announced Speed Week races will take place on February 28, which will play host to the second race of the 2026 zMAX CARS Tour season, March 1, March 4, March 5, March 6, and March 7. 

Southern National’s season will then pick up on Saturday, March 21.  Races will then take place on April 4, April 18, May 2, and May 16, followed by Championship Night on Saturday, June 6.

The divisions that will be run during the 2026 spring season will be announced in the coming weeks.

2026 Southern National Motorsports Park Spring Schedule

  • Saturday, February 28 – zMAX CARS Tour (Late Model Stock Car & Pro Late Model)
  • Sunday, March 1 – $2,000-to-win Charger, Mini Stock, Any Car, Southern National Vintage Series
  • Wednesday, March 4 – $5,000-to-win Late Model Stock Car, Legend Car, Bandolero
  • Thursday, March 5 – $5,000-to-win Late Model Stock Car, Legend Car, Bandolero
  • Friday, March 6 – $5,000-to-win Late Model Stock Car, Charger, Legend Car, Bandolero, Mini Stock, Any Car
  • Saturday, March 7 – $5,000-to-win Late Model Stock Car, Charger, Legend Car, Bandolero, Mini Stock, Any Car
  • Saturday, March 21 – URA Weekly Racing (Local divisions TBA)
  • Saturday, April 4 – URA Weekly Racing (Local divisions TBA)
  • Saturday, April 18 – URA Weekly Racing (Local divisions TBA)
  • Saturday, May 2 – URA Weekly Racing (Local divisions TBA)
  • Saturday, May 16 – URA Weekly Racing (Local divisions TBA)
  • Saturday, June 6 – Championship Night (Divisions TBA)
