The R&S Race Cars No. 19 house car will have a different look than originally intended.

Five-time NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national champion Philip Morris was slated to drive the car in a full-time capacity this summer but has taken a hiatus from racing in the aftermath of the death of son Blake last month.

As a result, Ty Gibbs will drive the car this weekend at Greenville-Pickens Speedway and Blake Stallings will drive the car next weekend at Ace Speedway. The rest of the season is to be decided.

Morris has the complete support of R&S Race Cars, operated by Steve Stallings and Marcus Richmond, during his time of grief.

“We completely understand and respect the decision,” the team said in a statement. “We will continue to pray for Philip, Donna, Allison, Ty and the rest of Blake’s family and friends. We hope you do too.”
