Rain has postponed the 41st annual Slinger Nationals to Wednesday night with a storm disrupting the prestigious Super Late Models event near the end of time trials.
Track officials have not decided upon a schedule for Wednesday and if the completed qualifying results will stand.
For those who attended, pit pass wristbands will need to be exchanged on Wednesday. A Tuesday wristband will be needed to acquire its Wednesday counterpart.
All but two of the scheduled 29 qualifiers had taken their turn in time trials.
Luke Fenhaus, Casey Johnson, Bubba Pollard, Rich Loch and John Deangelis had posted the five quickest times. The field also includes Stephen Nasse, Corey Heim, Ty Majeski, Johnny Sauter, Derek Kraus, Rich Bickle, Carson Hocevar and Sammy Smith.
