The 37th Glass City 200, now in its third year as an ASA STARS national Super Late Model series race, is bringing some of the biggest names in template racing to the northern Ohio half-mile on Saturday night.
It contains many of the biggest modern days stars of the discipline alongside some emerging talent.
Bubba Pollard, arguably the most popular driver in pavement short track racing is on the list, alongside defending NASCAR Truck Series champion and two-time Snowball Derby winner Ty Majeski. Just one day after making his own Truck Series debut, ASA STARS points leader — and also the most successful racer of the past calendar year – Cole Butcher is entered.
Snowball Derby winner Derek Thorn is also set to compete alongside other veteran types in Austin Nason (in his final season), Michael Simko, Albert Francis and Steven Ulman.
Truck Series rookie and ASA STARS regular Dawson Sutton is racing alongside top prospect types Gavan Boschele, Max Reaves, Kyle Steckly, Caden Kvapil and son of 2016 Truck Series champion Johnny Sauter, Penn Sauter.
Saturday race day will begin at Noon with a practice session and qualifying to follow at 3 p.m. An autograph session is scheduled for 4:30 and the race is slated to begin at 5:30. It will be live-streamed on TrackTV.

That race is full of talent, thanks for the article. Can’t wait to see the SNOWBALL this year with a good mix of young guns and old dogs or if a repeat winner gains another big victory
