15-year-old Ty Fredrickson joins ASA Platinum Program

15-year-old rising star, Ty Fredrickson, has joined the ASA STARS Platinum Program for 2025, becoming the 13th driver on the impressive roster.

The Webster, Minnesota native has been on a rapid rise in racing. In 2024, he clinched the ASA Midwest Tour Rookie of the Year title, earned a win at Dells Raceway Park, won the Tundra Super Late Model Series Championship and earned the prestigious Kulwicki Driver Development Program championship. His impressive performances have given him a reputation as one of the most promising young drivers currently racing.

The Platinum Program was announced for the 2025 season, replacing the previous Winner’s Circle Program. The program was created to allow drivers and teams to commit to running full time with the series and get their money’s worth. The program, which is valued at $65,000 per team, now has 13 drivers on it’s roster, including names like Bubba Pollard and Stephen Nasse, just to name a few.

Fredrickson’s inclusion in this program shows his dedication to advancing his racing career and his drive to race full time at the highest level. Fans will be able to watch his continued development and on-track prowess throughout the 2025 ASA STARS National Tour season.

Scotte is from North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, living just a few minutes from the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway. Scotte has raced at local dirt tracks for over six years, as well as covering NASCAR and short track races for over a year now, and has a firey passion for all motorsports, working to achieve a career as a driver.
