Robbie Brewer was injured in an accident at Bowman Gray Stadium on Saturday night, leaving the track in an ambulance.
After his car came to a rest, safety crews had to peel back the roof of Brewer’s car to remove him from the car after being involved in an accident on the 16th lap in the first of two races for the division at the Winston-Salem bullring.
While there is a lot of chatter online about his status, Short Track Scene is waiting for an official statement about Brewer’s status from the track, city or Sanctioning Body before posting anything else out of an abundance of caution and respect for the family.
