Jason Reasin

Bobby Labonte is racing with the SMART Modified Tour at Caraway Speedway on July 4 with Sadler-Stanley Racing.

The former NASCAR Cup Series champion and Hall of Famer is getting behind the wheel of the No. 16VA Modified for the first time this season. Labonte won this race in 2024, and him and the team are looking to repeat that success this Saturday night for the Revolutionary 99.

“Bobby is a proven winner, and truly an all around major asset to racing at many levels,” team co-owner Hermie Sadler said. “We are happy to have him back in a Modified, and appreciate everyone at Pace-O-Matic for helping to make it happen. There is no better way to celebrate America other than some exciting groundpounding Modified racing.”

The SMART Modified Tour Revolutionary 99 at Caraway Speedway will be streamed live on FloRacing on Saturday, July 4, starting at 5:20 p.m. EDT, with racing to begin around 8:00 p.m. EDT.

Scotte is from North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, living just a few minutes from the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway.
