The SMART Modified Tour has released the entry list for the Carteret Clash next week at Carteret County Speedway.
The field is filled top to bottom with the best Modified drivers in the southeast. Fresh off his 12th championship at Bowman Gray Stadium, Burt Myers is back with the tour, along with his brother Jason and son Slate. John Holleman IV of the same Madhouse fame will be joining them as well.
Fresh off his first career CARS Late Model Stock Tour win, Carson Loftin is back chasing his second win of the year. NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Labonte is back for his second start of the year. Son of Daytona 500 winning Jamie McMurray, Carter McMurray will be racing, as well as all the regulars from the SMART Tour. Danny Bohn currently leads the points over Ryan Newman and Jake Crum with two races left until the playoffs.
