Connor Hall extends Langley win streak.

Langley Speedway on Facebook

What more is there to say about Connor Hall. Since returning to weekly competition at Langley he remains undefeated winning his seventh and eighth race last night.

75 laps a piece as opposed to the usual 50. Race 1 Chase Burrow, who won the first races of the Langley season, led the field to green will Hall to his outside. The two fought hard for the top spot with Mark Wertz waiting in the wings. But after swapping the lead a few times Hall got clear and set sail, winning race 1 handily.

“Burrow and Mark obviously brought a really good car tonight,” Hall told FloRacing “Everyone’s getting closer and closer. We definitely gotta keep working and working on our end.

“You gotta treat it like twin 50’s. Obviously you’re gonna have 50 more laps of tire wear so I was just trying to conserve what I could but it’s really hard when you got Burrow and Mark behind you so it was just a happy chess match of how hard you wanna go versus how much you wanna save.”

Ayden Millette started first in the second 75 lap feature and as is procedure, Hall would start towards the back. While Hall worked his way through the field Ryley Music would get by Millette for the lead only to lose it to Danny Edwards just a few laps later.

Edwards set sail but it would be short lived as Hall would catch the No. 26 on lap 19 and make quick work of him. Hall would be uncontested for the rest of the caution free night. For old times sake, Hall was  greeted in victory lane by a chorus of boo’s.

“Made some really good adjustments, we were a little free the first race,” Hall told FloRacing “We go back and forth every week on whether to leave it or not and after a lot of debating we should probably just leave the adjustments for race 2 (the previous week) in it.”

Hall now sets his sights on the Virginia Triple Crown where he will drive the Nelson Motorsports No. 22 next weekend in the SoBo 200.

“I gotta drive to Martinsville and get Barry’s car ready and see what he can do there. We had maybe a fifth place car at Dominion in our shake down race and just trying to make that a little bit better so we can go three-peat for the 200.”
