24 Entered For Dominion CARS Tour Race

The CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour will be staying in Virginia for their seventh race of the 2021 season in the Radley Chevrolet 125 at Dominion Raceway.

Completed in 2016 as a spiritual successor to Old Dominion Speedway, the modern facility in Thornburg has made regular appearances on the CARS Tour schedule since the series first visited the track in 2017.

Former champions in Jared Fryar and Josh Berry have visited victory lane with the CARS Tour at Dominion but Jonathan Findley enters Saturday’s Radley Chevrolet 125 as the most recent winner at the track after surviving an attrition-filled race to lead the final 49 laps.

Although Findley is looking to defend his first career victory at Dominion, he and the rest of the CARS Tour field will have to figure out how to stop the recent efficiency from Justin Johnson Racing.

Johnson and his rookie teammate Kaden Honeycutt have won the two most recent CARS Tour events at Caraway Speedway and Langley Speedway. They will also have extra assistance this weekend in the form of 15 year-old Grant Thompson, who is making his CARS Tour debut.

A bad race from points leader Bobby McCarty at Langley has also put Johnson and Honeycutt in the middle of a tight  battle for the championship alongside Fryar and Deac McCaskill, with the five only being separated by ten points.

The Radley Chevrolet 125 can be viewed live on carstour.tv and is set to get underway following the first of two Virginia Racer 35-lap features at 7 p.m. The complete entry list can be found below.
