It’s an interdivisional clash of West Coast proportions as the Spears CARS Tour West Pro Late Models from the Northwest and Southwest prepare to battle in Saturday’s Mark Galloway Shootout at Evergreen Speedway. With a preliminary entry list of 37 cars, it’s one of the most anticipated events of the 2026 Spears CARS Tour West season, as talent from both tours collide in a 150-lap inaugural rivalry race that will determine the Best of the West and pays $15,000 to win. Fans can catch all the action live on FloRacing beginning at 6:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 27.
Defending Mark Galloway Shootout winner Haeden Plybon leads a star-studded Northwest field that includes series point leader Ethan Ebert, Thomas Stanford, Kevin and Keelan Harvick, as well as track favorites Haley Constance and Naima Lang. They’ll go head-to-head against a Southwest contingent spearheaded by point leader Kyle Keller and a talented group that includes Robby Sawyer, Jaron Giannini and James Hamlin.
Keelan Harvick, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Keller and Thomas Stanford are the four drivers entered who have already visited Victory Lane this season across Northwest and Southwest competition.
The event also marks the beginning of the Hoosier Tire West Triple Crown Challenge, a three-race Pro Late Model challenge that will award an additional $20,000 in prize money during the 2026 season to eligible car owners competing in all three rounds.
The Northwest Legend Car division is also on deck, scheduled for a 30-lap INEX/CTW points race Saturday evening. Among the early entries is Washington’s Kaleb Keck, who has one win and a pair of podium finishes in Northwest Legend Car competition this year. Jhett Phipps, the 12-year-old native of Heyburn, Idaho, and the series’ most recent pole winner, is also entered, as is Corbett, Oregon’s Andrew Riehl, who will compete in both the Legend Car and Pro Late Model events.
BATTLE FOR THE WEST
Northwest and Southwest PLM competitors from seven states and Canada will battle at Evergreen Speedway for the chance to be named the Best of the West as part of two Northwest/Southwest PLM Rivalry Races. The Rivalry Races bring together competitors from both regional divisions to crown the top overall driver. The first takes place this weekend at Evergreen Speedway, followed by the second at Colorado National Speedway (Aug. 1).
