CARS Tour West broadcasts moving to TrackTV in 2027

CARS Tour West has entered into a multi-year agreement with Track TV to become the exclusive streaming home of the series starting in 2027.

The acquisition will pair the west coast sanctioning body on the same streaming platform as the ASA STARS National Super Late Model Tour, the ASA Midwest Tour and CRA Pro Series.

The platform is operated by ASA STARS, CRA and Midwest Tour owner and promoter Marty Melo.

“We are extremely honored to work with the Spears CARS Tour West and have them on Track TV,” said Melo in a statement. “We have been very deliberate about growing Track TV and building a platform that can serve short-track racing on a national level. Expanding our presence on the West Coast is an important part of that strategy, and the Spears CARS Tour West is a tremendous addition to our lineup.

“We also look forward to making additional announcements regarding the expansion of Track TV’s distribution footprint, bringing our motorsports content to a broader audience across an increasing range of connected television, digital and streaming platforms.”

Matt Weaver is the owner and founder of Short Track Scene. Weaver grew up in the sport, having raced himself before becoming a reporter in college at the University of South Alabama. He also has extensive experience covering NASCAR, IndyCar and Dirt Sprint Cars.
