Midwestern tracks, series form unified rules package for 2024

A group of track and touring series across Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa have come together to create and abide by a uniform set of rules for everything that encompasses Super Late Model racing in the Upper Midwest.

The agreed upon parties are Dells Raceway Park, Slinger Super Speedway, Jefferson Speedway, Madison International Speedway, State Park Speedway, LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway, Grundy County Speedway in addition to the ASA Midwest Tour and Alive for Five Series.

In other words, a uniform rules package will be used for the 45th Slinger Nationals, 55th Oktoberfest Race Weekend, 59th National Short Track Championships, Icebreaker 100, Joe Shear Classic 200 and numerous other regional events.

While there have always been similarities, racers have asked for such uniformity and the promoters have landed on changes to weights, weight percentages, spoilers and more to race across the state and region without risk of easily falling out of compliance.
