CARS Tour will air on the FloRacing subscription platform in 2023 with an arrangement that creates obvious synergy between the regional touring series and the NASCAR Roots content that made its debut on the channel last season.
In other words, subscribers to FloRacing will now have access to all 19 race weeks split across the CARS Late Model Stock Tour and CARS Pro Late Model Tour in addition to marquee Late Model Stock events like the Virginia Triple Crown at South Boston, Langley and Martinsville.
It also creates a line of collaboration between CARS Tour and NASCAR from a promotional and marketing standpoint — seemingly inevitable since the purchase of the series last month by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick and Justin Marks. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see CARS Tour promotional coverage come to NASCAR’s Home Tracks website, for example.
With that said, CARS Tour broadcasts will have different aesthetic to it in 2023 as the new agreement will also result in a new production team for those 19 events. Tony Stevens and Pit Row TV served as both producer and play-by-play voice for the series since its inception in 2015. The new streaming rights agreement will lead to new production and commentary.
CARS Tour will begin the 2023 season at Southern National Motorsports Park on March 11 with a Late Model Stock and Pro Late Model doubleheader and it will mark the start of both the new ownership and streaming eras for the series.
In addition to the NASCAR and CARS Tour partnerships, FloRacing is also the exclusive home to the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, USAC, All Star Circuit of Champions, Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series, Flo Racing Night in America, the High Limit Sprint Car Series and more.
