CARS Tour unveils 2020 standalone schedules

These are the standalone races for next season …

For the most part, the 2020 CARS Tour schedules look consistently familiar.

The short track sanctioning body released on Friday the schedules for both the Late Model Stock and Super Late Model divisions.

The most obvious change on the Late Model Stock schedule is the absence of Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Virginia, which returned to the schedule this year with the track’s revival. Motor Mile was closed after the 2017 season and returned to the CARS Tour schedule in 2019.

On the Super Late Model side, a new event has been added at Jennerstown Speedway in Pennsylvania. This is the first time the CARS Tour has sanctioned a race in Pennsylvania and it will feature a $20,000-to-win event.

The remainder of the schedules are largely consistent from previous seasons.

The Late Model Stock schedule is 10 races deep and includes signature events like the $30,000-to-win Old North State Nationals at Orange County and the Throwback 276 at Hickory Motor Speedway.

The Super Late Model schedule has six races listed but more will likely be added in the form of companion races with other regional sanctioning bodies.

The races listed below are just the ones sanctioned by the CARS Tour individually.
