A familiar name is set to make his NASCAR Pinty’s Series debut in 2020. According to a Twitter post from his account, Treyten Lapcevich will be making his first start in the series this year.
While the races and team have yet to be announced, the 15-year old from Grimsby, Ontario did disclose he would be running at least three events.
Also have some more great news this morning, I’ll be running a minimum of 3 @NASCARPintys races this 2020 season. More information to follow in the near future. #SponsorMePFC20 pic.twitter.com/XJ3xITrM2y

In October, he took part in an off-season test with Micks Motorsports at both Sunset Speedway and Jukasa Motor Speedway.
In 2019, Treyten made a name for himself in the APC Series finishing third in the championship standings. He claimed three podiums, two of which came at tracks featured on the 2020 Pinty’s schedule – Jukasa and Sunset. He has also made two starts at the Short Track Nationals at Jukasa Motor Speedway, finishing 15th in 2019.
Treyten is the younger brother of 2016 Pinty’s Series champion Cayden Lapcevich and the son of Jeff Lapcevich, another series veteran.

I’ve been watching him for a couple years. Always unreal to watch a small 13 yr old climb out of the car and speak into the mic with his little kid voice. Make no mistake he knows how to drive. Congrats!!!
