Kevin Lacroix set the fastest time during qualifying for the NASCAR Pinty’s Series’ Lucas Oil 250 at Autodrome St-Eustache.
Lacroix’s No.74 Bumper to Bumper/ Total/ Gates Dodge set a blistering fast time of 17.604 seconds (81.800 mph) to claim his second consecutive E3 Spark Plugs pole award at Autodrome St-Eustache. This also marks his third pole of the season and ninth of his career.
The 29-year-old driver is a local favourite from St-Eustache, Quebec and looks to score his long awaited first victory at his home track later tonight. Lacroix will also be trying to get back into the winner’s circle for the first time since June.
Marc-Antoine Camirand logged the second quickest time of 17.627 (81.693), just .023 seconds back of Lacroix. Camirand will be looking to score his first career Pinty’s Series victory tonight.
Rookie Steve Cote hasn’t raced in the Pinty’s Series since Delaware Speedway back in 2012, but that didn’t stop him from logging the third quickest time. Cote set a time of 17.667 (81.508) around the .400 mile oval for his best career Pinty’s Series start.

JF Dumoulin will start eighth with 2010 St-Eustache winner D.J Kennington, who suffered transmission issues during practice, will roll off the starting grid ninth.
