Rain cancels USAC Silver Crown at Lucas Oil in Indiana

fficials from Track Enterprises, USAC Racing, and Lucas Oil Raceway have come to the agreement that the Saturday’s USAC Silver Crown race will be canceled due to rain.

It completes the total weekend washout at the track as the 51 Super Select Super Late Model all-star race was also canceled earlier this week. Saturday’s forecast is calling for a 90% chance or more from 8:00 AM all the way into Sunday morning.

The USAC Silver Crown Champ Car Series is now down to its season finale on Saturday, September 22 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio as part of the prestigious 4-Crown Nationals.
