Easter Bunny 150 to Be Streamed Live on Speed51

PASS

An Easter weekend tradition will continue next Saturday, March 31 on Speed51.com. For the fourth consecutive year, the Pro All Stars Series Easter Bunny 150 from Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) will be streamed via a pay-per-view video stream on Speed51 TV.

The 13th Annual Easter Bunny 150 will see the best Super Late Model drivers from New England match up against their counterparts from the Southeast and beyond. Each year, the race draws a talented field of drivers hoping to celebrate their Easter weekend with a victory at the “Birthplace of NASCAR stars.”

“The Easter Bunny 150 is really where the revival of Super Late Model racing in the south began,” said PASS President Tom Mayberry. “It has really grown into something special and we are glad that we can bring it to the world again on Speed51. The bunny is a trophy that every Super Late Model racer covets and wants to hold up at the end of Speed51’s coverage from Hickory.”

Fans unable to make it to the famed Hickory Motor Speedway in Newton, N.C. will be able to watch the race for $19.99.

Speed51.com will air all of the Super Late Model action from Hickory on March 31 beginning with qualifying at 4 p.m. ET. In addition to the PASS Super Late Models, the Southern Modified Racing Series will also be in action and covered through the Speed51.com video stream.

Speed51 TV will utilize a single-camera broadcast featuring the voice of the Pro All Stars Series, Alan Dietz, for this event. The broadcast will give race fans who can’t make it to Hickory, North Carolina the opportunity to watch the excitement of the Easter Bunny 150.

“As someone who lives in the heart of PASS North country here in Maine, the Easter Bunny 150 is an event I look forward to watching every year,” said Speed51.com Editor Brandon Paul. “I’ve been lucky to attend it in person and encourage everyone to make the trip south, but for those who can’t the Speed51.com video stream is the next best thing. I’m looking forward to an exciting race with the northern boys battling the best in the Southeast.”

Currently, the entry list for the event features short track racing stars from both sides of the Mason-Dixon line.

Tate Fogelman, Matt Craig, Brandon Setzer, Kodie Conner and Tyler Church will be among those looking to defend their home turf against northern invaders such as Derek Griffith, DJ Shaw, Ben Rowe and Garrett Hall. In all, 26 drivers are already entered for the race and will be making their way to Hickory hoping to win the Easter Bunny trophy.

Easter Bunny 150 weekend kicks off at Hickory Motor Speedway on Friday, March 30 with a full day of practice for the PASS Super Late Models and Southern Modified Racing Series.

With the 51 TV cameras live on Saturday, March 31, qualifying will take place for both divisions prior to the Super Late Model last chance race. The Easter Bunny 150 is scheduled to take the green flag at 7 p.m. ET and will be followed by a 75-lap feature for the Southern Modified Racing Series.
